  • Before founding the Firm, Mr. Craig was a Senior Associate, Civil Litigation, at the law firm of Gartrell & Associates (formerly Gartrell, Alexander & Gebhardt) in Silver Spring, Maryland. Mr. Craig is an experienced trial attorney, with a large concentration of his practice in the area of civil litigation. Mr. Craig represents the Firm’s clients in the areas of corporate law and construction litigation, as well as cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, nursing home malpractice and police misconduct. Mr. Craig is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

  • ATTORNEY TATARSHA HARRIS concentrates her practice in the intricacies of domestic & family law and civil litigation. Her areas of concentration include divorce, custody, visitation, child support issues, maintenance/support, equitable asset distribution, personal injury, medical malpractice, auto accidents, contract disputes and construction litigation.


    Before associating with the Craig Law Group as Of Counsel, Ms. Harris was an associate, in the civil litigation section, of the law firm of Weinstock Freidman and Freidman, LLP in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Harris also worked as a “Project 5000” Attorney in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City for the Honorable Susan Marzetta, Master of General Equity, where she reviewed tax foreclosure cases. Ms. Harris is an experienced trial attorney, with a large concentration of her practice in the area of Domestic Law. She also assists the Firm’s clients in the areas of corporate law and contract litigation, as well as cases involving estate and Personal Injuries. Ms. Harris is licensed to practice law in Maryland, New Jersey and New York.


    As part of Tatarsha’s approach, she works closely with each client in investigating, analyzing, strategizing and advocating their interests. With 13 years of experience, she presents a sensitive, caring, comprehensive and tough approach to her practice of law. She emphasizes that one of the hardest parts of divorce litigation is knowing when to fight and when to settle. With years of experience, her keen ability to exercise good judgment makes a real difference.

  • JILL PRISCILLA CARTER joined the Craig Law Group as "of counsel" in 2004, where she has developed and focused her practice in the area of business law and governmental contracts. Jill is an American politician who represents Maryland's 41st legislative district of Baltimore City in the Maryland House of Delegates Member of House of Delegates since January 8, 2003. Member, Judiciary Committee, 2003- (juvenile law subcommittee, 2003-05; criminal justice subcommittee, 2005-06; chair, estates & trusts subcommittee, 2007-11; chair, juvenile law subcommittee, 2011-; member, family law subcommittee, 2015-). Member, Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive and Legislative Review, 2004-06. Member, Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, 2003- present (parliamentarian, 2004- present); Women Legislators of Maryland, 2003- present.   • JASMIN MARIE TORRES - has been a practicing real estate and title attorney since 2004. She currently serves as an independent contractor with the Craig Law Group. Attorney Jasmin M. Torres has associated with the Firm as Of Counsel since 2007, and she services the Firm's business and real estate clients. Ms. Torres has a general civil practice with a primary focus in the areas of business law and real estate. Ms. Torres is also a real estate settlement attorney, and is the founder and CEO of her title company, Land Settlements, LLC (est. 2004), where she conducts settlements for residential and commercial transactions in the Firm's offices.


    After devoting the better part of a decade in service to the citizens of Baltimore City as an Assistant City Solicitor, and as private counsel, Ms. Torres has amassed substantial litigation experience, including court trials, as well as establishing an extensive motions practice involving complex legal real estate issues. Ms. Torres has served in membership with the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce and the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and she provides significant legal services to the City’s expanding Hispanic community.

  • Ms. Clarke is a 3L Law student at University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a Graduate of Towson University. As a Rule 16 student attorney with the Bronfein Family Law Clinic - Ms. Clarke represented low-income victims of domestic violence seeking petitions for orders of protection, divorce, child custody, and child support. Ms. Clarke has also worked as a law clerk with the St. Ambrose Housing Center where she worked directly with low to moderate income clients in all stages of their foreclosure. Ms. Clarke has also represented clients during their foreclosure mediation at the Office of Administration in Hunt Valley; and has clerked with the office of the public defender in Baltimore City. Ms. Clarke presently works directly with Senior member Randall J. Craig, Jr. in matters of civil litigation.


  • JASON EUGENE MILES, ESQUIRE serves as Of Counsel with the Firm, focusing in the areas of civil and criminal litigation and bankruptcy. Formerly an associate with the firm of Schwartz, Zweben & Slingbaum, based in Florida, Mr. Miles focused in the area of civil litigation of claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), for that firm's Maryland clients.


    A native of Buffalo New York, Mr. Miles received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and received his law degree from Howard University School of Law.

  • KENYA N. ASLI, JD serves as Senior paralegal and Case Management Consultant with The Craig Law Group, bringing nearly a decade of experience in the legal field in several of the firm’s practice areas, including municipal government, MBE/WBE minority certification, urban planning, domestic relations, business organizations and personal injury.


    Ms. Asli is the founder of AHa! Business Solutions, LLC, an administrative consultant company which provides legal administrative and case management services to its clients. Through aHa! Business Solutions, Ms. Asli serves as a “Virtual Chief Operating Officers” to small and emerging businesses to ensure their growth and development across a cadre of corporate markets.


    Kenya also brings fifteen years of experience working with some of Baltimore’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. Kenya held the position of Director of Community Building for Citizens Planning and Housing Association providing training and technical assistance to urban and suburban communities. Appointed by the Mayor in 2010, Ms. Asli was the first Economic Empowerment Officer for the Baltimore City Department of Transportation where she worked to bring jobs and economic development opportunities to communities in Baltimore City. She is responsible for drafting Baltimore City’s first economic empowerment incentives to encourage contractors to hire Baltimore City residents on construction projects impacting communities.


    Ms. Asli has also served as the Chief Operating Officer for LIGHT, Health & Wellness Comprehensive Services, Inc. whose mission is to promote the health and wellness of our communities by providing the highest quality information, guidance and treatment services to individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, mental illness, poverty and other long term health challenges. She recently served as the Director of Career Development for Bon Secours Community Works. She was led Career Development programming for residents and Bon Secours Hospital employees.


    A native of Baltimore City, she attended Morgan State University In 2001, Kenya earned a Bachelor of Science from the Morgan State University, School of Social Work and was named the Presidential Scholar. In 2008, she earned the Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland, School of Law.

  • CAMILLE COLEMAN, serves as the Executive Legal Assistant to Senior member Randall J. Craig, Jr. Ms. Coleman first came to the firm in 2012 as an office assistant and after years of case management and client interaction developed a proficiency in handling the firm's personal injury practice as well as providing civil litigation support to the firm. Her company, Coleman's Consulting Services, LLC now provides comprehensive administrative legal services and support to the firm.

The Craig Law Group (CLG), is a full service law firm established in 1994. The Firm’s principal members are admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of the District of Columbia and Maryland. The Firm is committed to establishing and maintaining the highest legal and professional standards within the community and its members serve on various boards, committees, and organizations.

Practice Areas

  • The Firm regularly appears before the local and federal courts in Maryland and in the District of Columbia, in various kinds of matters including general tort defense, products liability, professional liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation and employment. It has engaged in all aspects of the litigation process, including jury and bench trials, hearings, pretrial proceedings, arbitration panels, and administrative proceedings.

  • CLG provides quality representation in the area of defensive litigation. Our attorneys have experience in providing defensive litigation for the City of Baltimore in connection with tort and civil rights claims brought against the Baltimore City Police Department and its officers in federal and state courts.


    The members of the firm have also provided defensive litigation for major department stores in commercial and consumer contract disputes, as well as served as defense counsel for several major insurance companies in defending against bodily injury claims.

  • CLG has experience in the area of surety and fidelity law. Client representation has included investigating and evaluating the company’s liability in performance bond claims filed by owners of public and private construction projects, in payment bond claims filed by subcontractors and suppliers, and in various fidelity and miscellaneous bond claims including, but not limited to, claims involving appeal bonds, estate bonds, fiduciary bonds, license and permit bonds and subdivision bonds; negotiating settlements of such claims; and managing outside counsel in litigation in connection with bond claims.


    Additionally our attorneys provide advice and representation in connection with performance bond claims for terminations for default including, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating financial accommodation agreements, assignment agreements, takeover agreements, completion agreements and other contractual arrangements to ensure completion of contract work; Advice and representation in connection with filing and pursuing payment bond claims; and Representation in surety-related litigation, administrative hearings, arbitration proceedings and mediations.

  • CLG entertainment and business practice includes representation and contract negotiation and drafting for such diverse entities as popular recording and concert artists, book authors and playwrights, producers and production companies, and clothing companies. Among our areas of expertise are contracts related to sound recordings. The Firm includes among its clients musical artists of all genres including Jazz, R&B, Gospel and Classical in both the domestic and international arenas, as well as a foreign sports clothing company. A complement to our representation of entertainers and many business clients as well, is rendering advice with respect to the selection and registration of trademarks and copyrights.

  • CLG provides drafting, negotiating, litigation and advisory services to public and private owners, contractors and developers on residential and commercial projects. The firm’s attorneys also have experience in arbitration and mediation of matters involving construction disputes and mechanical liens. Our firm provides service to prime contractors and subcontractors at all stages of building construction and real estate development.

  • CLG provides representation in the areas of government contracts which includes, without limitation the following: Review and analysis of invitations for bids (IFB’s) and requests for proposals (RFP’s) to ensure our clients' thorough understanding of bid/proposal requirements; Assistance in preparing and legal review of final bid/proposal documents to ensure bid/proposal is responsive to solicitation requirements; Advice and representation in drafting and negotiating appropriate contract, subcontract, and purchase order agreements; Advice and representation in filing and pursuing bid protests; Advice during the contract administration process concerning the client’s contractual rights and obligations including, but not limited to, interpretation of contract clauses and preparation of claims involving formal and constructive change orders, delays and suspension of work, defective specifications, equitable adjustments and terminations for convenience and default.


    Advice and representation in payment disputes including, but not limited to, filing and pursuing mechanics’ liens, payment bond claims, unjust enrichment and quantum meruit claims, and claims pursuant to the Md.
